Year-round camping starts at Ryerson PA State Park

Starting this season, Ryerson Station State Park's campgrounds, including both camping cottages, will be open year-round. If you are on the East coast this is grtting to be a rare thing.

Dear Hunters may take advantage of more than 1,100 acres of prime whitetail deer habitat from the comfort of one of the park's cottages, or bring in their own campers or tents.

Hikers and birders are welcome to stay at the park while spending time enjoying the serenity that surrounds the park's winter world. Some of the park's trails also are open to cross country skiers and snowmobile riders weather permitting.

The cottages are heated and have electricity inside. Both the campsites and camping cottages are available for rent at normal rates. Information about fees, occupancy and reservations is available by calling toll free 1-888-727-2757, or online by visiting http://www.pa.reserveworld.com.
