Family camping travel tips, campgrounds, motorhome travel, camping gear and recreation guide
Camping is one of the recreational activities that help us get relief from our day-to-day stress and also regain our physical and mental strength. Any camping is done in remote areas, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
Camping could be done on high mountains, river valleys, forests, natural parks, or other places closely related to Mother Nature. Even though camping is usually done with tents or other make-shift shelters, primitive structures like caves could also be used for camping.
A few people prefer to spend their camping time in the open, without the help of any kind of shelter. Most of the time, camping is combined with another recreational activity like hill climbing, trekking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, etc. Here are a few ideas to enjoy camping as a great hobby and also have terrific fun at the same time.
Mosquito netting is an alternative way to repel insects when camping. Learn how to pick out and use mosquito netting with tips from an outdoor activity expert in this free camping video.

Although s’mores probably came into being not long after the commercial marshmallow was developed in the 1880s, the first published recipe appears in the 1940 Girl Scout Handbook. Today, it has been adapted into many interesting variations.
Good Old S’mores
* Hershey’s chocolate bar
* marshmallows
* graham crackers
Place half of a Hershey’s® Milk Chocolate bar onto a graham cracker half. Carefully toast a marshmallow over a grill or campfire. After the marshmallow is toasted a nice golden brown, place it on top of the chocolate bar half. Sandwich it with a second cracker half and gently press it together. Enjoy! Comment: Use Nestle’ crunch chocolate bar for nut lovers.
Dedicated to finding campgrounds that have beautiful views of natural settings, I recommend Bog Springs and Lakeview campgrounds located near Tucson, Arizona in Coronado National Forest for their beautiful views of the unique terrain of southeastern Arizona. They’re also great for bird watching and hiking.

Bog Springs is the only campground in Madera Canyon – a world-class birding area with over 200 species of birds.
